The most traditional vacuum packaging method for small batches. The product to be packaged is put in a bag that has three sealed sides. The product bag is placed in a vacuum chamber machine that creates a vacuum inside the package and seals it.
The vacuum pack contains no air and prevents the growth of oxygen-dependent microbes. Vacuum packs do not have any free space, which makes the package film cling to the shape of the packaged product.
Table-top models
The traditional vacuum pack is made by manually placing the product in a ready vacuum bag. The bag is placed in a vacuum chamber and, after a vacuum has been created inside the bag, the bag's mouth is closed with a heat sealer. Labelling and pricing can be implemented, for example, with a simple pricing weigher.
